REVIEW WORDS

Write these words on flashcards. Put the meaning behind the flashcards. Pass out to students to come up front and read it aloud.

Praise”. This means to clap or put your hand in the air for Jesus to show Him you appreciate Him and love Him. It means to sing to Him and worship Him.

The word firmament means the sky. We praise God who lives in the sky or heaven. The word mighty. This means great and powerful. Jesus is so strong and powerful that he answers our prayers and protects us. He controls the whole world and all of us.

The word acts. It means to do something. God created the universe, came to earth as a baby, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again from the grave in three days.

The word sound.” A sound can be an echo, a noise, a loud thud, humming and talking when we need to listen.

Lute”.  It is an instrument from the 14th to 17th century. It resembles a guitar and has a pear shaped body. Jesus wants us to praise Him with all types of instruments. When we love Him we will want to praise Him.

GAME
Print chunks of words of the first three verses from the chapter on separate cards. Place these cards on the board all scrambled out of order. Have two kids place the words in the correct order on the board. When they have completed this correctly, have them say the verse to the class from memory. Do this game several times using two different kids each time. Say the whole verse together as a class two times.
