THE LOST COIN RAP

(Bases on Luke 15: 8-10)

Audience participation (accent and clap on bold words)

There was a little woman

Who lost a silver coin

It made her sad and sorry

To lose this precious coin.

She searched and searched the house

In every crack and corner

To find her small lost coin

So she could buy some food.

And when she found her coin

She called to all her neighbors

She called on all her friends

They laughed and then rejoiced

That she had found her coin.

Jesus is our Shepherd

He searches far and near

To find the lost and lonely

And help them find the joy

That He alone can give

When we repent and pray

And tell Him we are sorry

For all our sins today!

The angels will rejoice

When Jesus finds a lamb

To take with Him to heaven

When He returns some day!
