Easter is a Special Time Poem

Easter is a special time that we can reminisce on what Christ has done for us,

It is a time to celebrate his birth, death, resurrection, and our new life in Him

We can look back at where He has brought us and thank Him

We can then wait with anticipation for what He is going to do for us.

We are all on a journey in life facing unknown territory and decisions,

Christ has assured us that He will be with us and that we can lean on Him

When suffering comes our way, He understands for He has been there

When the future is uncertain, He is working on our behalf and we can trust Him

Life is full up ups and downs, twists and turns, valleys and mountains,

As we lift our eyes to heaven, we can rest on His help.

We have a loving Savior who made heaven, earth, and each one of us.

He will keep us in whatever, and wherever our journey may lead

Friends may forsake us, foes may best us, Satan may attempt to hinder

However, God is Sovereign, righteous, holy and just.

What we cannot do ourselves, he will, what we cannot see, He does.

As we walk with Him this day, let us look forward to what the day will bring

It is the faithful heart, who will inherit the kingdom of heaven.

It is the repentful heart, who will be completely forgiven

It is the servant heart, who is living for Him that will be blessed

It is the one who says, "The world behind the cross before me" who walks in faith.

Allow this Easter to be a turning point in your life,

As you face each day, remember you are not alone in this journey of life

Christ died for YOU, and He will see you through

Every up and down, twist and turn, valley or mountain - He is there!

Christ is not dead, he is alive, He is not asleep He is alert.

He knows just what you need, and will see you through,

Christ is good and kind; he is everywhere all the time.

He is our key to life, our doorway to heaven, He is risen!
