Welcome to Kidz Ministry website for all children & church workers. I hope that you will find this site helpful in your endeavors as you work with God's precious children. In your commitment to serve these little ones, remember that it takes lot of patience, love, and kindness. You do not have to have a degree, lots of education, or titles in order to do this. Be yourself, and love them through Christ. Of course, there is so much to learn, and I have not accomplished it all yet either in all my years of experience. There are always new circumstances that will arise, new problems, new techniques and methods that we will never know it all. However, teach them to love God and show them that love. Many come from homes that are broken without that love, or from a single parent home that does not have the energy and time that you may have to give. We live in difficult times; however, God is able and will use your efforts that are done with pure motives in love. God bless you.
Now, allow me to introduce myself. My husband, Larry, and I have two children - Regina and Nathan; three grandsons - Seth, Simon, and Samuel; and three granddaughters - Callie, Grace, and Katie. They are absolutely wonderful! Are they mischievous? Yes, at times. Are they disobedient at times? Sometimes. Are they stubborn? Yes, but aren't we all as well? But we LOVE them just the same! As grandparents, it is our God-given privilege to help train them in the way of the Lord.
My husband and I have both have spent many years ministering in the church in various areas. We both love God and serve in our local church. I serve as a Assistant Pastor for a Nazarene Church, and my husband who is called to teach, works with Small Groups. Having gifts and a love for music, I have been a music teacher - teaching keyboard, theory, choir and serving as a judge for Federation (music organization) once a year. My volunteer work for the Nursing Home and local hospital in Pastoral Care is a rewarding experience.
